HealthFirst Insurance was processing over 50,000 insurance claims monthly, with each claim requiring manual review of multiple documents including medical records, invoices, and policy documents. The manual process took an average of 45 minutes per claim, created backlogs during peak periods, and resulted in inconsistent decisions.
